ICE London 2020 Impress Attendees with Cultural and Futuristic Performances

26/02/20

Scarlett Entertainment is proud to have worked alongside Clarion Gaming in delivering an exceptional entertainment experience for guests at ICE London 2020. Event planners got in touch with our Account Manager Laura Dalton in search of multiple options for the different spaces designed for event attendees at Excel London.

Looking for entertainers who could perform different sets throughout the three-day showcase, ICE London organisers were particularly interested in walkabout entertainment and cultural acts in order to promote their upcoming events in North America, Africa and Asia.

This Sci-fi Walkabout Robot was the meet and greet act chosen to welcome guests to ExCel. Displaying the ICE logo on its in-built iPad screen, this sinister-looking yet friendly character interacted with visitors and posed for photos as it roamed the venue.

The below is a comprehensive breakdown of the different entertainment options delivered day by day:

DAY 1:

9am-10am ICE Asia networking breakfast

A group of five traditional Philippine dancers were the chosen entertainers to meet and greet guests at the CE Asia networking breakfast. Our dancers amazed attendees with the Banga (pot dance), a contemporary dance style consisting of balancing clay pots intermittently.

Barefoot and wearing traditional striped skirts with white pom-poms and matching headbands, our dancers also welcomed event guests and senior officials and were also seen posing for photos. Bringing an authentic feel from the Philippines, this traditional dance group was one of the highlights of the three-day event!

4.30pm-7pm

During the afternoon, our sensational electric LED violinist performed alongside a DJ at the Red Tiger drinks reception for VIP and Ampersand members. Creating a pleasant atmosphere with chill-out music, our performer was seen roaming around playing her glowing instrument in a sophisticated blue dress.

5.30 pm-7 pm ICE Africa and LaTam

With ICE Africa (28-29 October, 2020) in view, event organisers were also looking for an African entertainment option that could serve as a preview of what attendees will be seeing in the African showcase. On this occasion, an African Gospel Choir was in charge of providing the event with a genuine African touch.

Bringing together African and Latin American cultures, Brazilian hostesses were seen serving canapes and posing for photos whilst the gospel singers delighted listeners with their stunning, powerful and moving vocals.

DAY 2:

9am-10am ICE North America

Aiming to bring a piece of the Louisiana city to London, event planners trusted our New Orleans Jazz Band to transport guests to the banks of the Mississippi River. Our trio performed New Orleans style jazz for dancers to perform to. Wearing matching black and white 1920s outfits, dancers also contributed to transport guests to 1920s Louisiana.

Additionally to this, the band also performed an hour of background music set during the breakfast networking event.
